Terms of Service for Rentify

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website and utilizing our rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Rentify provides a specialized platform for the rental of high-performance laptops and professional tablets. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

To rent high-end hardware from Rentify, users must be at least 18 years old and provide valid identification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials within our Secure Rental Portal. Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately.

3. Rental Period & Equipment Usage

• Rental Term: The rental period begins the moment the device is delivered and ends upon its successful return to our facility.

• Authorized Use: High-performance laptops and professional tablets must be used solely for lawful purposes.

• Prohibited Actions: Users are strictly prohibited from opening the hardware casing, replacing internal components, or performing any unauthorized technical modifications.

4. Payments & Security Deposits

• Rental Fees: All fees for rental services must be paid in full before the hardware is dispatched.

• Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for every transaction to cover potential damages or late returns.

• Refund Process: Security deposits are released back to the original payment method after our technical team completes a successful hardware inspection.

5. Equipment Damage & Loss

• Standard Wear: We expect “normal wear and tear” on our devices.

• Liability: The customer is fully liable for any physical damage, liquid spills, or loss of the device during the rental period.

• Reporting: Any hardware issues or accidents must be reported to our support team within 24 hours of occurrence.

6. Data Privacy & Device Sanitization

While we perform a military-grade factory reset upon return, the user is primarily responsible for backing up their files and signing out of personal accounts before returning any rental device. Rentify is not liable for any data loss during our automated sanitization process.

7. Cancellations & Late Returns

• Cancellations: Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery for a full refund.

• Late Fees: Late returns are subject to a daily fee, as specified in your rental agreement, to compensate for the delayed availability of hardware for other clients.
